About SUCCESS

SMEs (small and medium enterprises, aka small businesses) are the foundation of our economy, but are often severely lacking in their cybersecurity. Existing security controls (a set of rules to follow that improve cybersecurity) are often hard to understand for small business owners who are unfamiliar with the language and aimed at protecting bigger companies with more resources and employees. SUCCESS aims to make good cybersecurity accessible to small businesses by creating a set of controls based on the feedback of real small business owners, and provide a starting point for improving company security. Cybersecurity issues can be expensive and destructive; By implementing the 21 simple controls detailed throughout this site, small businesses can take the first step towards protecting their resources and securing their assets.
